Julen Villa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekaitz Buenafuente's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Poli Pabon got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ekhi Verges. In the 33rd minute, Firmo Fresnos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Ekaitz Buenafuente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julen Villa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekaitz Buenafuente in the 41st minute. Nando Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekaitz Buenafuente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julen Villa made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekaitz Buenafuente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
