The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Varela got free with Arnaldo Maroto in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Blasi Silvestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Maroto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 36 minutes into the game, Real Desfase CF's Ezker Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Maroto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Paulo Molina fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Desfase CF's protests and gave Paulo Molina a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Real Desfase CF got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Molina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezker Ortiz in the 42nd minute of play forced MOLLERUSA FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MOLLERUSA FC's Arnaldo Maroto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save MOLLERUSA FC from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute, Real Desfase CF's Severo Redondo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnaldo Maroto. Arnaldo Maroto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fe Palanques was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Real Desfase CF booed when MOLLERUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fe Palanques didn't get a good kick on the ball. MOLLERUSA FC's Arnaldo Maroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Redondo in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabulón Teresa in the 57th minute of play forced MOLLERUSA FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazaro Treviño's late challenge caught a Real Desfase CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The MOLLERUSA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Maroto should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Ezker Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Arnaldo Maroto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78thth minute of the game Ezker Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MOLLERUSA FC's Arnaldo Maroto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Chus Sampil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Maroto. MOLLERUSA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chus Sampil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Llope Raya hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Zabulón Teresa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Maroto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the MOLLERUSA FC defense, Severo Redondo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Maroto. The MOLLERUSA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Maroto should have stopped the shot. Calisto Briso hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. MOLLERUSA FC's Fe Palanques got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Desfase CF fully deserved thier win.
