After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Fe Palanques managed to get in a good position for a shot. MOLLERUSA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fe Palanques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julen Villa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Abarrotz Montero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Maroto. MOLLERUSA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abarrotz Montero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Antxoka Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in MOLLERUSA FC's zone, Abarrotz Montero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Maroto came out of the goal and Abarrotz Montero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, MOLLERUSA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazaro Treviño to maneuver through the defense. If Abarrotz Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Fe Palanques notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Vinaroz 's Julen Villa. Julen Villa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 played minutes MOLLERUSA FC got a freekick which was hit by Fe Palanques. Arnaldo Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierres Marcos in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fe Palanques made a kick off. MOLLERUSA FC were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after FC Vinaroz 's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fe Palanques took the corner. 61 minutes into the game, Benigno Aceves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MOLLERUSA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vinaroz the free kick. In the 61st match minute, MOLLERUSA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Aceves to maneuver through the defense. Antxoka Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Arnaldo Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abarrotz Montero in the 89th minute of play. After 89 played minutes MOLLERUSA FC got a freekick which was hit by Antxoka Sánchez. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MOLLERUSA FC were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Vinaroz for much of the match.
