Apoena Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inko Irureta in the 24th minute of the match. Valentín Saboya's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Omar Quiroga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th match minute, Bot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Alcaraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Inko Irureta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentín Saboya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inko Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arturo Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inko Irureta struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Arturo Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bot. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Arturo Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Apoena Manrique's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Sanz was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Apoena Manrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentín Saboya took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Quiroga. Omar Quiroga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillen Ledo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. El Porrosillo made a substitution. Ugaitz Quintanilla replaced Xepe Doblas. In the 86thth minute of the game Tomualdo Barrientos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bot's Omar Quiroga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomualdo Barrientos in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Quiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bot's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
