Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ladio Lorenzo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, TRAMUNTANA FC's Ladio Lorenzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raymond Montiel. Raymond Montiel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to TRAMUNTANA FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Egoitz Torres hit a great ball. Erasto Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Beloki in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Palamós's goalkeeper Raymond Montiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Playo Romero. Raymond Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladio Lorenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, TRAMUNTANA FC's Erasto Alacuart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Raymond Montiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladio Lorenzo in the 26th minute. Raymond Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Playo Romero in the 27th minute of play. Blas Beloki scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasto Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute of the match, Xulian Quiroga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raymond Montiel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd match minute, Palamós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramone Vazquez to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Palamós defense, Ladio Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Montiel. The Palamós fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Montiel should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Beloki made a kick off. Raymond Montiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Playo Romero in the 54th minute of the match. Clodoveo Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Raymond Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladio Lorenzo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Montiel. Raymond Montiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Ladio Lorenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Beloki in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasto Pena saved TRAMUNTANA FC from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Cesario Armada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladio Lorenzo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TRAMUNTANA FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ladio Lorenzo hit a great ball. Palamós's Raymond Montiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Playo Romero in the 74th minute of play. Mohamed Revuelta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymond Montiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Erasto Alacuart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Raymond Montiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Palamós defense, Clodoveo Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Montiel. The Palamós fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Montiel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, TRAMUNTANA FC's Mohamed Revuelta got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TRAMUNTANA FC had played much better football throughout.
