Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egun Jareño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joanes Cortes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute of the match Pascual Carro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joanes Cortes skillfully saved the ball. Egun Jareño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Santianes FC's Alberto Einstein in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute, Gudesteo Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Pascual in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joanes Cortes saved La Febro from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Santianes FC's Egun Jareño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joanes Cortes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Alberto Einstein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joanes Cortes was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Filipo Laredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Febro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santianes FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alberto Einstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santianes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Einstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joanes Cortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The La Febro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santianes FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Einstein was the one to do the kick off. Egun Jareño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Einstein in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Alberto Einstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to La Febro getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Filipo Ladra hit a great ball. If Egun Jareño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Pascual struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Joanes Cortes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santianes FC. After having played for 97 minutes, Alberto Einstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santianes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Einstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Santianes FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Febro.
