In the 12th minute, Agamenón Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arias Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Ibias's protests and gave Arias Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute of the match John Bargas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Alavedra skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute Agamenón Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Las Planas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristos Murcia to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Fe Acedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Ibias and the Las Planas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Real Ibias got a freekick which was hit by Fe Acedo. After some careless play in the Real Ibias defense, Agamenón Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Alavedra. The Real Ibias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Alavedra should have stopped the shot. Eli Galego kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Cristos Murcia hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Paco Arraz, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 46th minute, Agamenón Rodriguez made a precise shot to the right of Isaias Alavedra. Real Ibias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fe Acedo to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Real Ibias's Osoro Roig made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germán Gonzalvez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germán Gonzalvez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osoro Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Fe Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
