After some careless play in the Poqueira FC defense, Nate Drakenborg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Macedo. The Poqueira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Macedo should have stopped the shot. Laércio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Villapalacios SAD's Nate Drakenborg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laércio Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nate Drakenborg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Macedo saved Poqueira FC from getting behind. The Villapalacios SAD fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Villapalacios SAD's Nate Drakenborg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Laércio Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nate Drakenborg went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Freddy Cacheres kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nate Drakenborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Macedo having to interfere. Laércio Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidele Barajo in the 26th minute of the match. Nate Drakenborg scored 0-6 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidele Barajo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Laércio Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villapalacios SAD. Nate Drakenborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan-Francisco Casals during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Juan-Francisco Casals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nate Drakenborg came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Villapalacios SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nate Drakenborg couldn't finish the play. Laércio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidele Barajo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Nate Drakenborg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poqueira FC's Laércio Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Poqueira FC's attentive Mundo Losada managed to snatch the ball when Fabio Monte made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belmiro Entero to make the kick off. Laércio Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nate Drakenborg's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Poqueira FC's Laércio Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidele Barajo in the 53rd minute of play. Laércio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidele Barajo in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 55th minute of play forced Poqueira FC's goalkeeper Laércio Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Francisco Casals kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Fabio Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Laércio Macedo made a huge save. Villapalacios SAD were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Poqueira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Austin Velazquez took the corner. Villapalacios SAD's Fidele Barajo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Poqueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nate Drakenborg came free, but Laércio Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Poqueira FC's Laércio Macedo got control of the ball when Nate Drakenborg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nate Drakenborg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laércio Macedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Nate Drakenborg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Nate Drakenborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidele Barajo in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-14 when Fidele Barajo sped through Poqueira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laércio Macedo. Nate Drakenborg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-15 to the left of a surprised Laércio Macedo 91 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fidele Barajo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laércio Macedo. That made the score 0-16 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Villapalacios SAD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Poqueira FC.
