But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Entero couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, La Febro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Valerón to maneuver through the defense. Joanes Cortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Chmelyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Poqueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Mundo Losada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Laredo in the 14th minute of play forced Poqueira FC's goalkeeper Laércio Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Zbigniew Chmelyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Filipo Ladra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laércio Macedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belmiro Entero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laércio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Ladra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jorge Nobo scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Derwin Vives's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, La Febro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Checa to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Entero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipo Ladra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Macedo having to interfere. If Zbigniew Chmelyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derwin Vives in the 98th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
