The referee ignored Alcover's protests and gave Reynaldo Valdés a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Alcover got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Valdés. With a little luck, Real Burgos's Uzuri Roca got control of the ball when Reynaldo Valdés tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Fernandez in the 26th minute of play forced Alcover's goalkeeper Marcial Amorebieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iban Sancho made a kick off. Real Burgos's Uzuri Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Valdés in the 53rd minute of play. Carlo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Valdés struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Uzuri Roca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcover. The Alcover supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Burgos's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Burgos.
