After some careless play in the Montgut defense, Alex Iniesta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 彭凡泉. The Montgut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 彭凡泉 should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Valencia CF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Romeo Cruz hit a great ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nabar Serena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Nazario Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nabar Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Iniesta in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 彭凡泉 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Valencia CF's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Harroyo came free, but Nabar Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nabar Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagondo Machado in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Urko Pascual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nabar Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Paz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Montgut's Nazario Harroyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nabar Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a long run with the ball, Elpidio Campomanes did a trick in the 46th minute in front of Valencia CF's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-2. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Valencia CF's goal looked a bit too open when Urko Pascual came free, but Nabar Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fagondo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabar Serena having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF's Jesús Nueva got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Montgut's Urko Pascual dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. 91 minutes into the game, Elpidio Campomanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montgut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia CF the free kick. A collision led to Montgut getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Elpidio Campomanes hit a great ball. Montgut's Elpidio Campomanes got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Lastur Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Montgut left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valencia CF.
