The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natal Viqueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerrold Montiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raymundo Caballero's late challenge caught a REY DE LA GOLDEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymundo Caballero helped the player get up and apologised. Stu Burton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dudu Georgescu got free with Natal Viqueira in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Guillerme Caminero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and REY DE LA GOLDEN's Enrique Barrientos didn't even have to move. Many of REY DE LA GOLDEN's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. REY DE LA GOLDEN may have spent more time on the ball, but Samba Coloma were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
