In the 2nd match minute, Pipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio March to maneuver through the defense. Lorencio March scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco-Antonio Palencia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco-Antonio Palencia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorencio March in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Pipas got a freekick which was hit by Bernabé Climent. Marco-Antonio Palencia came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Pipas's Bernabé Climent. But to his dismay, Bernabé Climent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Genaro Jofre notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pipas's Fermín Figueres. Fermín Figueres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco-Antonio Palencia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Verdeja's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Marco-Antonio Palencia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorencio March, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Lorencio March made a precise shot to the right of Marco-Antonio Palencia. Fuendejalón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorka Verdeja in the 40th minute of play forced Fuendejalón FC's goalkeeper Marco-Antonio Palencia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermín Figueres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Jofre in the 42nd minute. Gorka Verdeja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marco-Antonio Palencia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 65th minute Lorencio March shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco-Antonio Palencia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco-Antonio Palencia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Verdeja's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Enrico Titos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco-Antonio Palencia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Fuendejalón FC's Marco-Antonio Palencia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Fuendejalón FC from getting a goal against them. The Pipas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
