After a defensive mix-up in El Trocadero's zone, Frechoso Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amato Alonso came out of the goal and Frechoso Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El Trocadero defense, Luciano Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amato Alonso. The El Trocadero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amato Alonso should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Santiago Gil made a precise shot to the right of Arnau Abajas. Legia warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Luciano Lorenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frechoso Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Trocadero's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Gil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnau Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of El Trocadero booed when Legia warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breixo Cuervas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luciano Lorenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amato Alonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Lorenzo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Legia warszawa's Luciano Lorenzo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Amato Alonso was a little too slow when Luciano Lorenzo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-3.
