A Gudiña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Trocadero the free kick. Garoa Cuervas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gaizka Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Gil in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Arsenio Ibanez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amato Alonso made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Agamenón Solera sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to A Gudiña getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. The referee showed Tato Zubiaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Xamo Sirvent fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nicanor Cayuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Amato Alonso made a huge save. Amato Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xamo Sirvent in the 39th minute of the match. Xamo Sirvent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amato Alonso having to interfere. Santiago Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gaizka Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Gil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaizka Zapata firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 57 played minutes A Gudiña got a freekick which was hit by Xuaco Carreira. After 58 played minutes, El Trocadero's Valentín Escobar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaizka Zapata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Trocadero reached it. Tato Zubiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gaizka Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, A Gudiña's goalkeeper Gaizka Zapata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Gil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Sirvent in the 68th minute of play forced El Trocadero's goalkeeper Amato Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amato Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamo Sirvent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A Gudiña booed when El Trocadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Maestro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Trocadero's Valentín Escobar got a free kick in the 77th minute. 87 minutes into the match, El Trocadero's goal looked a bit too open when Xamo Sirvent came free, but Amato Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
