The referee ignored Xavis Equals's protests and gave Iñaki Lozano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xavis Equals getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Iñaki Lozano hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Alberto Saura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jardi Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Saura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardi Club de Fútbol's Emilio Rik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walme Fonticoba. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. A collision led to Jardi Club de Fútbol getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Teodor Cruz hit a great ball. Polifemo Quevedo, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Belarmo Castillo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Rik to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tebaldo Ferrer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Colas Portillo, 1-2. Emilio Rik scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walme Fonticoba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match Peio Marques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walme Fonticoba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iñaki Lozano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Walme Fonticoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miliano Jareño, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Jardi Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Tebaldo Ferrer came free, but Colas Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Xavis Equals got a freekick which was hit by Iñaki Lozano. After 92 played minutes Jardi Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Cruz. Colas Portillo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Galo Maestro sent off a good shot on target. Tebaldo Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colas Portillo having to interfere. Jardi Club de Fútbol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
