When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Jardi Club de Fútbol's Alberto Saura got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fagondo Calderon. Emilio Rik had several of the SK Telecom T1's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Fagondo Calderon as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Telecom T1's goalkeeper Fagondo Calderon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fagondo Calderon made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Emilio Rik sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SK Telecom T1's Fagondo Calderon got control of the ball when Emilio Rik tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Normando Aizpurua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Fagondo Calderon managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Jardi Club de Fútbol's Emilio Rik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Miliano Jareño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fagondo Calderon having to interfere. The supporters of SK Telecom T1 booed when Jardi Club de Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Pancracio Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Telecom T1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pancracio Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Jardi Club de Fútbol's Ciceron Gasso got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Eriz Llorente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Pancracio Alfaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Colas Portillo, 2-1. With a little luck, Jardi Club de Fútbol's Colas Portillo got control of the ball when Eriz Llorente tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emilio Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fagondo Calderon was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, SK Telecom T1's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Soldado came free, but Fagondo Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, SK Telecom T1's Anaia Mora seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anaia Mora the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Telecom T1 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anaia Mora had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When Jardi Club de Fútbol's Emilio Rik in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
