Quentin Saboya came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AD Betis Carabanchel's Gaizkine Arias. But to his dismay, Gaizkine Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Leoncio Jimenez fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markel F.C's protests and gave Leoncio Jimenez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Markel F.C's Leoncio Jimenez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Quentin Saboya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizkine Arias in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Gaizkine Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Saboya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Galdamez charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nando Galdamez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Markel F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nando Galdamez. AD Betis Carabanchel's Baldomero Astudillo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leoncio Jimenez in the 40 minute of the game. 42 minutes in the game Ciceron Bastida did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nando Galdamez.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Telo Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Betis Carabanchel's supporters rose to their feet, but Telo Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Saboya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Markel F.C's Quentin Saboya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Markel F.C from getting a goal against them.
