Valentín Leseduarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Quiroga in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Gorri Alcalde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentín Leseduarte. C.D Murcia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gorri Alcalde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 21st minute Gorri Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentín Leseduarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, C.D Murcia's goal looked a bit too open when Migúel Veloso came free, but Valentín Leseduarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, C.D Murcia's Severino Casta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cortez Nobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, C.D Murcia's Xamin Encina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xamin Encina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.D Murcia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xamin Encina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 25 minutes into the game, one of C.D Murcia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC Ibias a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arturo Guerrero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.D Murcia's Valentín Leseduarte. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Migúel Veloso during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Migúel Veloso hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Guerrero in the 42nd minute of play forced C.D Murcia's goalkeeper Valentín Leseduarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Casta was the one to do the kick off. Valentín Leseduarte didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Migúel Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes C.D Murcia got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Cortes. A hard shot by Arturo Guerrero from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Valentín Leseduarte's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cordarell Casta might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cortez Nobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordarell Casta ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentín Leseduarte was a little too slow when Arturo Guerrero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-8. Amuruza Mezquita took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentín Leseduarte. Valentín Leseduarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. 79 minutes into the game, César Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Valentín Leseduarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Migúel Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Valentín Leseduarte. C.D Murcia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. The supporters of FC Ibias booed when C.D Murcia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Casta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Arturo Guerrero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentín Leseduarte skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ibias's Antonio Lorenzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentín Leseduarte. That made the score 0-12 after 91 minutes of play. Migúel Veloso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentín Leseduarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Migúel Veloso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 95th minute.
