The referee gave Mitxel Castro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 37 minutes into the game, one of Real Cohólicos B:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Moisés Parra charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés Parra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Real Cohólicos B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Parra to maneuver through the defense. Indar Mora hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Indar Mora fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D Murcia's protests and gave Indar Mora a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.D Murcia's Indar Mora got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Boruc Szarmach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Jairo España managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D Murcia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo España was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Boruc Szarmach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordarell Casta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarell Casta hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, C.D Murcia's Boruc Szarmach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. García Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Cordarell Casta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boruc Szarmach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without García Vera having to make a save. Cordarell Casta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.D Murcia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
