After having played for 77 minutes, Simon Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carantoña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Typhon Paris ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Florinio Cardeñosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic de Sarda's supporters rose to their feet, but Florinio Cardeñosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Herberto Gibert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celtic de Sarda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carantoña the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Nicodemo Villafane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Imanol Alcantara fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celtic de Sarda's protests and gave Imanol Alcantara a yellow card for diving instead. Imanol Alcantara kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
