An unexpectedly hard shot by Koldo España in the 6th minute of play forced Mitos SD's goalkeeper Ján Čillík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ján Čillík didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Balcells went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marei's goalkeeper Demesio Aguilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Koldo España shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Čillík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marei booed when Mitos SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norino Estrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitos SD's Ján Čillík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Higuera in the 22nd minute of play. Moisés Marcos made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alcadio Noya however managed to control. 26 minutes into the match, Mitos SD's goalkeeper Ján Čillík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edorta Delgado. Ján Čillík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitos SD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Koldo España scored to the left of an out of position Ján Čillík, making the score, 2-0. Joaquin Pascual hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mitos SD's Ján Čillík got control of the ball when Edorta Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Albizua hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Higuera in the 40th minute of play forced Mitos SD's goalkeeper Ján Čillík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfonso Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitos SD's protests and gave Alfonso Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Edorta Delgado made a precise shot to the right of Ján Čillík. Mitos SD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Higuera to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mitos SD's goal looked a bit too open when Koldo España came free, but Ján Čillík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mitos SD's Alfonso Albizua got a free kick in the 54th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Armando Higuera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ján Čillík. Mitos SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Higuera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Koldo España took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ján Čillík. Ján Čillík dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Taurino Aceves charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taurino Aceves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mitos SD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Taurino Aceves hit a great ball. Pablo Balcells recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Armando Higuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ján Čillík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Higuera in the 95th minute of the match. Marei's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
