After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Koldo España managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marei's supporters rose to their feet, but Koldo España was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovando Palomar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Isaias Castelao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, DragonX's goal looked a bit too open when Edorta Delgado came free, but Ovando Palomar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cebrián Antunez fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DragonX's protests and gave Cebrián Antunez a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes DragonX got a freekick which was hit by Cebrián Antunez. Demesio Aguilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Morientes in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, DragonX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Mondejar to maneuver through the defense. Ovando Palomar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Marei booed when DragonX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Mondejar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edorta Delgado's late challenge caught a DragonX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edorta Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. Edorta Delgado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The DragonX players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marei were winning 0-1.

57 minutes into the match, Edorta Delgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovando Palomar. DragonX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edorta Delgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 61 minutes in the game, Moisés Marcos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ovando Palomar having to interfere. Ovando Palomar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santi Santalla. Ovando Palomar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Higuera in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Higuera in the 65th minute of play forced DragonX's goalkeeper Ovando Palomar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Koldo España kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovando Palomar. That made the score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. Edorta Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Morientes during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Leandro Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes DragonX got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Morientes. A collision led to DragonX getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rodolfo Mondejar hit a great ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marei's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
