Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicodemo Villafane took the kick off in the first half of the match. Canastell's Freddy Cuervas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodemo Villafane in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canastell's Estefan Fernandez got a free kick in the 5th minute. Abel Castillo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Freddy Cuervas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carantoña. Angel Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Grau in the 8th minute of play. Nicodemo Villafane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Cuervas having to interfere. Angel Medina was a little too slow when Cayetano Grau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Freddy Cuervas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodemo Villafane's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estefan Fernandez during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Estefan Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canastell! Simon Sancho made a great header on Carantoña's corner, it was just that Canastell's Freddy Cuervas managed to reach the ball for a save. Angel Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Grau in the 31st minute of play. Freddy Cuervas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Villafane in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Villafane in the 41st minute of play forced Canastell's goalkeeper Freddy Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnalt Maldonado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Abel Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Cuervas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cayetano Grau made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Cuervas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Castillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. Cayetano Grau charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Grau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carantoña booed when Canastell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Grau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carantoña's Simon Sancho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Freddy Cuervas but with some difficulty. Abel Castillo succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Angel Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estefan Fernandez in the 64th minute of play. Canastell's Freddy Cuervas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Canastell from getting a goal against them. Freddy Cuervas was a little too slow when Nicodemo Villafane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-3. Estefan Fernandez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Castillo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Cuervas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Cuervas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Sancho in the 80th minute. Cayetano Grau took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Medina. Angel Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Abel Castillo scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Cuervas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Carantoña's goal looked a bit too open when Estefan Fernandez came free, but Angel Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carantoña walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
