Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicodemo Villafane kicked off to start the match. Angel Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Higuera in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Alcadio Noya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marei and the Carantoña players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Marei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcadio Noya to maneuver through the defense. Marei's Demesio Aguilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodemo Villafane in the 10th minute of play. Abel Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demesio Aguilo having to interfere. Koldo España's late challenge caught a Carantoña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Koldo España helped the player get up and apologised. Koldo España kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nicodemo Villafane scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demesio Aguilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Demesio Aguilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicodemo Villafane went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Marei's Demesio Aguilo got control of the ball when Nicodemo Villafane tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes Marei got a freekick which was hit by Alcadio Noya. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodemo Villafane got free with Demesio Aguilo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demesio Aguilo having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Nicodemo Villafane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carantoña fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 46th minute, Carantoña's Abel Castillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Higuera made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Abel Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demesio Aguilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demesio Aguilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Castillo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Carantoña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfiro De Pablo to maneuver through the defense. Angel Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Marei's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodemo Villafane came free, but Demesio Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Marei getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Koldo España hit a great ball. Abel Castillo scored 8-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demesio Aguilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 78th minute of the match Koldo España completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Koldo España a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Koldo España hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Nicodemo Villafane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marei's Demesio Aguilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Castillo in the 84th minute of play forced Marei's goalkeeper Demesio Aguilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Tavio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demesio Aguilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demesio Aguilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Castillo in the 87th minute of the match.
