Komoyamolkipo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Rito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute of the game Dimas Menendez made a throw-in which Cebrián Bartumeu played forward. Marco Ritos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Nalo Montes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Huarte during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tancredo Unzueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Furman Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nalo Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cebrián Bartumeu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 31 minutes, Pepito Benedicto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Komoyamolkipo FC and the Torrealba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Torrealba's Segundo Huarte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nalo Montes. Nalo Montes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A collision led to Komoyamolkipo FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Leo Bouzas hit a great ball. After 48 minutes of play, Torrealba's Fortun Sainz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nalo Montes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torrealba's Eduardo Manrique was substituted for Dimas Menendez. Torrealba's Gonzalo Bermudez was substituted for Dimo Vega. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Rito to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Torrealba's goalkeeper Furman Pena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tancredo Unzueta. Nalo Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Rito in the 62nd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Torrealba's Eriberto Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nalo Montes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Nalo Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Varela in the 76th minute of the match. Nalo Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nalo Montes came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Torrealba's Eriberto Varela. But to his dismay, Eriberto Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Leo Bouzas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nalo Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Rito in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Varela in the 90th minute of play forced Komoyamolkipo FC's goalkeeper Nalo Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nalo Montes came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Torrealba's Marco Rito. But to his dismay, Marco Rito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There was no doubt that Torrealba were the better team. Torrealba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
