The audience was convinced that Pacorro Palanques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giro Idiaquez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. If Gaztea Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute of the match Luke Velazquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giro Idiaquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Isidor Harroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pacorro Palanques hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to Albacete Balompié getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Burni Zubiaga hit a great ball. Nisio Marrero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Pacorro Palanques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giro Idiaquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidor Harroyo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Nisio Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Albacete Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Palanques came free, but Giro Idiaquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Monton's goalkeeper Eneko Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliz Segarra. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliz Segarra to strike the kick off in the second half. When Navarro Iniesta fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monton's protests and gave Navarro Iniesta a yellow card for diving instead. Navarro Iniesta hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Monton getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Michael Iglesias hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Albacete Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Burni Zubiaga. Monton's Luke Velazquez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giro Idiaquez but with some difficulty. Nisio Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Abancens having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Monton's goal looked a bit too open when Feliz Segarra came free, but Eneko Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albacete Balompié's Feliz Segarra got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliz Segarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eneko Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Prospero Dorado hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Feliz Segarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Abancens having to interfere. Gaztea Alarcon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Monton's goal looked a bit too open when Feliz Segarra came free, but Eneko Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eneko Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliz Segarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Isidor Harroyo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giro Idiaquez. Giro Idiaquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Giro Idiaquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacorro Palanques in the 96th minute of the match. Chants of Monton echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Albacete Balompié had held the ball for most of the match.
