Though ot was a great shot Tenteniguada's keeper Furman Barral was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 11 played minutes Tenteniguada got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Luis Andres. Tenteniguada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Joel Lundström scored to the left of an out of position Furman Barral, making the score, 1-1. Gitarriu's Fidel Higuera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baleren Campomanes in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Gitarriu's Frankie Yankovich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Furman Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Vergaray Casero struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Furman Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gitarriu. Frankie Yankovich's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Furman Barral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Furman Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Alacuart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Higuera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Luis Andres in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Tenteniguada getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Celino Rey hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baleren Campomanes in the 42nd minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Fidel Higuera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Baleren Campomanes made the kick off in the second half. Joel Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furman Barral having to interfere. Furman Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Alacuart in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Tenteniguada got a freekick which was hit by Luis-Jose Canturri. Joel Lundström took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Furman Barral. Furman Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Joel Lundström notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tenteniguada's Furman Barral. Furman Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Higuera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baleren Campomanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Demetrio Cabanela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gitarriu made a substitution. Xiao Jun Liang replaced Jane Gubanec. Furman Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bueno in the 77th minute of play. Furman Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Higuera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Joel Lundström made a precise shot to the right of Furman Barral. Tenteniguada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Gitarriu's Fidel Higuera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganix Nieto in the 96th minute of play. With a little luck, Gitarriu's Fidel Higuera got control of the ball when Ganix Nieto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gitarriu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
