Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pacorro Palanques made the kick off which started today's match. Eneko Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Arnaitz Zubizarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vellisca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaitz Zubizarreta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneko Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Isidor Harroyo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Monton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidor Harroyo couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vellisca FC's goalkeeper Albino Guijarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pacorro Palanques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vellisca FC's Pedro Benedicto suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 20th match minute, Monton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidor Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. Isidor Harroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Albino Guijarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Vellisca FC's goalkeeper Albino Guijarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidor Harroyo. In the 27th minute, Alonso Doblas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vellisca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vellisca FC's zone, Pacorro Palanques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Guijarro came out of the goal and Pacorro Palanques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidor Harroyo came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albino Guijarro could save by the left post. If Pacorro Palanques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidor Harroyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Larpe Beloki during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alonso Doblas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Abancens having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Alonso Doblas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monton's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidor Harroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Guijarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Guijarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacorro Palanques, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Pacorro Palanques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Albino Guijarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
