The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Nuestro Abarán CF's zone, Baleren Campomanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Curteanu came out of the goal and Baleren Campomanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Furman Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fix Martínez in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baleren Campomanes in the 7th minute of play forced Nuestro Abarán CF's goalkeeper Ovidiu Curteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sancho Morado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Furman Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Curteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ganix Nieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Ramirez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nuestro Abarán CF's Fernan Ramirez got a free kick in the 16th minute. Nuestro Abarán CF's Iñaki Arraz suffered a sore knee after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dorio Castaño charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorio Castaño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nuestro Abarán CF made a substitution. Orlondo Zapatero replaced Iñaki Arraz. 26 minutes into the match, Tenteniguada's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Morado came free, but Furman Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Curteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganix Nieto in the 28th minute of the match. Fernan Ramirez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of Tenteniguada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tenteniguada. 38 minutes into the match, Ganix Nieto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nuestro Abarán CF's Ovidiu Curteanu. Ovidiu Curteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Ganix Nieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Curteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Baleren Campomanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Curteanu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Fix Martínez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Furman Barral. Fix Martínez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baleren Campomanes was the one to do the kick off. Furman Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fix Martínez went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Furman Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancho Morado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Furman Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlondo Zapatero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sancho Morado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Furman Barral saved Tenteniguada from getting behind. Nuestro Abarán CF's Sancho Morado got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Sancho Morado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenteniguada's Furman Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Tenteniguada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Luis Andres to maneuver through the defense. Fix Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Curteanu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luis-Jose Canturri. A collision led to Tenteniguada getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ganix Nieto hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Urtzi Muelas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Curteanu skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Tenteniguada's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Morado came free, but Furman Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nuestro Abarán CF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Paulo Tobias hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Tenteniguada's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Morado came free, but Furman Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ganix Nieto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ovidiu Curteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tenteniguada. 93 minutes into the game, Ganix Nieto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ovidiu Curteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nuestro Abarán CF had played much better football throughout.
