Spectators: 7546 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 34) Vellisca FC's Arnaitz Zubizarreta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marino Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Alonso Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vellisca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Doblas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marino Barba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Arnaitz Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Barba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaitz Zubizarreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Arnaitz Zubizarreta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UE Seva's Marino Barba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of UE Seva booed when Vellisca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosalio Sobera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominic Cortes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Albino Guijarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marino Barba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 44th minute of play. Arnaitz Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marino Barba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitin Verdu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Vellisca FC's Rosalio Sobera got a free kick in the 51st minute. UE Seva's Qwinton Etxeberria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Albino Guijarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vellisca FC's Albino Guijarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitin Verdu in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vellisca FC's zone, Dominic Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Guijarro came out of the goal and Dominic Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonso Doblas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 67th minute of play forced UE Seva's goalkeeper Marino Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaitz Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonso Doblas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Barba having to interfere. Marino Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonso Doblas got free with Marino Barba in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, UE Seva's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaitz Zubizarreta came free, but Marino Barba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaitz Zubizarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Barba having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, UE Seva's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alonso Doblas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Mendez during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Pablo Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
