In the 78thth minute of the game Leocadio Ponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Manzaneda SD's Medero Castan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Vilanova who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Peru Benito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Sporting Manzaneda SD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Manzaneda SD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
