An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lundström in the 2nd minute of play forced Sporting Manzaneda SD's goalkeeper Medero Castan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Sporting Manzaneda SD's Mané Abascal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Higuera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Vilanova who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Fidel Higuera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Suwita Supriadi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when Sporting Manzaneda SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sinforiano Acarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergaray Casero, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joel Lundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Medero Castan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Joel Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Medero Castan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Frankie Yankovich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Medero Castan. Sporting Manzaneda SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frankie Yankovich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 minutes, Franco Cañadas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Manzaneda SD and the Gitarriu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franco Cañadas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Medero Castan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lundström in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Manzaneda SD booed when Gitarriu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Yankovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Gitarriu's Joel Lundström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Medero Castan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Vilanova came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fidel Higuera could save by the left post. In the 33rdth minute of the game Joel Lundström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Manzaneda SD's Medero Castan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Medero Castan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lundström in the 34th minute of play. Nemesio Vilanova scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Higuera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Alacuart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Medero Castan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mané Abascal got free with Fidel Higuera in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Frankie Yankovich put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Medero Castan. In the 55th minute, Felix Alacuart made a precise shot to the right of Medero Castan. Sporting Manzaneda SD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Gitarriu's Frankie Yankovich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Medero Castan. That made the score 1-5 after 60 minutes of play. Joel Lundström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Medero Castan made a huge save. Fidel Higuera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Baptiste Ritieni came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baptiste Ritieni couldn't finish the play. Fidel Higuera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Maroto in the 69th minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Frankie Yankovich made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Manzaneda SD's Medero Castan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gitarriu's Antonio Bueno was substituted for Frankie Yankovich. Antonio Bueno in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Medero Castan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 82 minutes into the match, Felix Alacuart notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Sporting Manzaneda SD's Medero Castan. Medero Castan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Medero Castan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Medero Castan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gitarriu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vergaray Casero in the 91st minute. The corner led Gitarriu's Vergaray Casero to fire away a dangerous shot which Medero Castan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fidel Higuera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Vilanova in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's Felix Alacuart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Medero Castan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
