The supporters of Vilarelho F.C booed when U.D. Logroñes S.A.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Helguera took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waclaw Lewkowicz. Waclaw Lewkowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Raphael in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Macias Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, Vilarelho F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musko Alcalde to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Raphael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Macias Clemente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 32 in the game by Clemente Raphael from a close distance when the talented Macias Clemente managed to make a qualified save. U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's players were relieved. Waclaw Lewkowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peyo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waclaw Lewkowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Helguera's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Prospero Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilarelho F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Sugoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Macias Clemente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vilarelho F.C booed when U.D. Logroñes S.A.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vilarelho F.C fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Vilarelho F.C's Clemente Raphael looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlo Munoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A collision led to U.D. Logroñes S.A.D getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcelo Helguera hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Clemente Raphael put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Macias Clemente. Waclaw Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Cruz in the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th minute Clemente Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macias Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waclaw Lewkowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peyo Cruz in the 69th minute. Macias Clemente came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vilarelho F.C's Clemente Raphael. But to his dismay, Clemente Raphael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Raphael in the 82nd minute of play forced U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's goalkeeper Macias Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Rio Ocaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilarelho F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rio Ocaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Raphael came free, but Macias Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to U.D. After 95th play minutes Clemente Raphael shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Macias Clemente and just under the crossbar into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vilarelho F.C fully deserved thier win.
