Onuba Recreation's Anartz Estruch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristeo Camacho in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ribadesella's goal looked a bit too open when Mancio Ladra came free, but Nicolás Labarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás Labarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mancio Ladra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onuba Recreation's Anartz Estruch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliazar Figueres in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Mancio Ladra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Laurgain Castelao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ribadesella's Nicolás Labarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ribadesella from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Pepe Novo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Ribadesella's Aquilino Helguera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anartz Estruch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mancio Ladra in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolás Labarra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tadeo Dominguez took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anartz Estruch. Anartz Estruch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 44th minute Tadeo Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anartz Estruch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Novo's late challenge caught a Ribadesella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pepe Novo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Onuba Recreation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Novo to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Aristeo Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anartz Estruch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristeo Camacho was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Ribadesella's protests and gave Aristeo Camacho a yellow card for diving instead. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Mancio Ladra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás Labarra was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mancio Ladra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onuba Recreation made a substitution. Eneas Serra replaced Eder Alcantara. Enol Serra kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mancio Ladra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás Labarra was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Mancio Ladra struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Nicolás Labarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onuba Recreation. Mancio Ladra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymundo Cuadrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Labarra having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ribadesella were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Onuba Recreation side.
