Spectators: 5988 (Terracing: 4491, Seating: 1377, VIP seats: 120) Ketes F.C's Ted Alacuart started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the U.D. Logroñes S.A.D defense, Ted Alacuart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macias Clemente. The U.D. Logroñes S.A.D fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macias Clemente should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Ted Alacuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macias Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baudelio Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macias Clemente having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's zone, Ted Alacuart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macias Clemente came out of the goal and Ted Alacuart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Fortun Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Macias Clemente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ted Alacuart went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Macias Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baudelio Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macias Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudelio Acosta in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's Fortun Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mundo Pascual made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 38 minutes, Iratxo Barrientos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ketes F.C and the U.D. Logroñes S.A.D players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of U.D. Logroñes S.A.D booed when Ketes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratxo Barrientos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the U.D. Logroñes S.A.D defense, Benjamin Titos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macias Clemente. The U.D. Logroñes S.A.D fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macias Clemente should have stopped the shot. After the first half Ketes F.C were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcelo Helguera made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Macias Clemente managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Ketes F.C's Ted Alacuart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patxi Arenas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 56th playminute. When Baudelio Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ketes F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baudelio Acosta couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Ketes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Baudelio Acosta. In the 74th minute Patxi Arenas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 76th minute, Peyo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ted Alacuart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Benjamin Titos made a precise shot to the right of Macias Clemente. U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Benjamin Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyo Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ted Alacuart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Macias Clemente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Alacuart got free with Macias Clemente in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toli Prieto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute of the match Simon Palomares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mundo Pascual skillfully saved the ball.
