Anko Astudillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anartz Estruch. Onuba Recreation's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anartz Estruch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larpe Ponte in the 20th minute of the match. Onuba Recreation's Anartz Estruch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarón Elguero in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Martinet got a freekick which was hit by Aarón Elguero. Anartz Estruch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larpe Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Onuba Recreation got a corner. Martinet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Onuba Recreation's Manel Bajo to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Olano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Larpe Ponte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Onuba Recreation's Anartz Estruch. Anartz Estruch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anartz Estruch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larpe Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mancio Ladra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Enrique Olano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Pepe Novo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onuba Recreation's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Novo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Olano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bazil Guijarro made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Raymundo Cuadrado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enrique Olano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes of play, Onuba Recreation's Laurgain Castelao made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Olano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Onuba Recreation's Laurgain Castelao got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 73rd minute of the match Aarón Elguero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aarón Elguero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aarón Elguero kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mancio Ladra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Olano was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Pepe Novo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bazil Guijarro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Onuba Recreation made a substitution. Jonathan Fabelo replaced Roldán Gabas. After 82 played minutes Martinet got a freekick which was hit by Bazil Guijarro. Onuba Recreation's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
