The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortun Garcia got free with Abrahan Astudillo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zigor Ortiz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximo Lorenzo in the 34th minute of play forced U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's goalkeeper Macias Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macias Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the U.D. Logroñes S.A.D defense, Florentino Dijk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macias Clemente. The U.D. Macias Clemente came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by A.T Macha Real's Pablo Garoa. But to his dismay, Pablo Garoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. U.D. Logroñes S.A.D's Macias Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorka Toxeiro in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Garoa in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Macias Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Braulio Jaraba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abrahan Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Fortun Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Abrahan Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abrahan Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Helguera in the 81st minute of play.
