Zumar Buendia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Victoriano Lara made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tierras UD's Joey Torres got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 11 played minutes Vaig Fort FC got a freekick which was hit by Cordeiro Castan. Victoriano Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oxel Alonso in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Argenis Alavedra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vaig Fort FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tierras UD the free kick. After 20 played minutes Vaig Fort FC got a freekick which was hit by Argenis Alavedra. Sabino Contratas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Lara having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Cordeiro Castan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierras UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordi Guasch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oxel Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Victoriano Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Cordeiro Castan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matias De Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matias De Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uxio Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Mendebal Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias De Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zumar Buendia, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordeiro Castan in the 45th minute of play forced Tierras UD's goalkeeper Matias De Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tierras UD's Zumar Buendia got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Zumar Buendia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Lara. Zumar Buendia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uxio Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vaig Fort FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 57thth minute of the game Jose-Juan Radaban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaig Fort FC's Victoriano Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Zumar Buendia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 70th minute Jose-Juan Radaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose-Juan Radaban struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Victoriano Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierras UD. Victoriano Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carolo Unzueta struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
