If Simon Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting CP's Claude Santander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Lillo in the 20th minute of play. José Rajoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting CP's Claude Santander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cefero Vilanova in the 24th minute of play. Claude Santander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsin Marin in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goal looked a bit too open when Cefero Vilanova came free, but Claude Santander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Mancos's Cefero Vilanova nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claude Santander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victoriano Zurica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cefero Vilanova did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Claude Santander 53 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, José Rajoi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Claude Santander to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, C.F. Los Mancos's Cefero Vilanova ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claude Santander. Claude Santander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Claude Santander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mauricio Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artzai Galnares in the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg Claude Santander managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when C.F. Los Mancos's Cefero Vilanova fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gabriel Lillo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claude Santander. Claude Santander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Sporting CP's Claude Santander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting CP from getting a goal against them. Cefero Vilanova's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Santander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With an all-out effort, C.F. Los Mancos's Claude Santander threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Lillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. José Rajoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Claude Santander made a huge save. Claude Santander came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by C.F. Los Mancos's Chano Baños. But to his dismay, Chano Baños quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. When C.F. Los Mancos's Urtsin Marin in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting CP's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, C.F. Los Mancos's Xaime Benedicto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xaime Benedicto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.F. Los Mancos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xaime Benedicto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mauricio Claude went to the wrong direction when 张康帆 was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. C.F. Los Mancos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
