The crowd rose to their feet as Rojals's Merlin Balmaceda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hermelando Medina. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Rubite FC's Hermelando Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Balmaceda in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Mehmet Bedri Teber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hermelando Medina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Rubite FC's Hermelando Medina got control of the ball when Asier Pastor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Merlin Balmaceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Bernabé Teresa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermelando Medina. Rubite FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabé Teresa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabé Teresa got free with Hermelando Medina in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Rojals's Merlin Balmaceda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermelando Medina. Hermelando Medina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Rubite FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabé Teresa came free, but Hermelando Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Sandro Prieto from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Hermelando Medina's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hermelando Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabé Teresa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Merlin Balmaceda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermelando Medina was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelayo Figueres to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Balmaceda in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermelando Medina saved Rubite FC from getting behind. Hermelando Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Rubite FC defense, Mehmet Bedri Teber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermelando Medina. The Rubite FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermelando Medina should have stopped the shot. Rojals made a substitution. Juan-Francisco Morado replaced Merlin Balmaceda. After 71 minutes of play, Rojals's Juan-Francisco Morado made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermelando Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermelando Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Francisco Morado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Pelayo Figueres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Phenix Wright made a huge save. Jorge Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermelando Medina came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rojals's Asier Pastor. But to his dismay, Asier Pastor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 86th minute, Asier Pastor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermelando Medina was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Hermelando Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabé Teresa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Francisco Morado in the 94th minute of play forced Rubite FC's goalkeeper Hermelando Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rubite FC's Jorge Moreno got a free kick in the 94th minute.
