In the 5th minute Toño Pascual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vongola FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Vongola FC's goalkeeper Delmar Lastras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Moreno. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubite FC's Jorge Moreno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Lastras. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Primitivo Acedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delmar Lastras. The goal made the score 3-0. Hermelando Medina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nalo Gil's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on Vongola FC's corner Paulino Sarrate fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hermelando Medina quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Bernat Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toño Pascual scored 3-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermelando Medina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Toño Pascual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Vongola FC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Rubio. Paulo Uria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Jorge Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Lastras. Vongola FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernat Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Vongola FC's Toño Pascual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermelando Medina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Juan Tormes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Hermelando Medina made a huge save. After 62 minutes, Ximeno Nafría mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vongola FC and the Rubite FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Vongola FC got a freekick which was hit by Ximeno Nafría. Jorge Moreno took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Lastras. Delmar Lastras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 70th minute Jorge Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vongola FC's Juan Tormes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Hermelando Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toño Pascual, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Rubite FC's goalkeeper Hermelando Medina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toño Pascual. After some careless play in the Rubite FC defense, Toño Pascual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermelando Medina. The Rubite FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermelando Medina should have stopped the shot. Hermelando Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toño Pascual in the 93rd minute.
