The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Taborda got free with David Bîndean in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Huetre's protests and gave Vicente Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MIKELOCHO CF booed when Huetre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Huetre getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vicente Pietro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vicente Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huetre's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Bîndean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A nice corner shot did that Latif Sargan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Bîndean quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Huetre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
