The audience thought a goal was coming when Asier Pastor got free with Fresco Limon in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Asier Pastor could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Fresco Limon however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Quevedo in the 27th minute of play forced Rojals's goalkeeper Phenix Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rojals fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Rojals's Merlin Balmaceda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
