The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Quevedo in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliz Ladra saved Imperial from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Imperial's zone, Tommy Rabot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliz Ladra came out of the goal and Tommy Rabot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Tommy Rabot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliz Ladra. Imperial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Rabot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Tommy Rabot put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Feliz Ladra. Virgilio Quevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Xaloc fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Xaloc's Tommy Rabot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Feliz Ladra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Quevedo in the 40th minute of play. Feliz Ladra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Rabot's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Antxo Pardo. After 47 played minutes, Xaloc's Humberto Barba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliz Ladra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xaloc reached it. After the first half Xaloc were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Virgilio Quevedo made the kick off in the second half. Millano Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Millano Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Millano Pacheco hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Abejundio Madariaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperial and the Xaloc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imperial's Abejundio Madariaga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Feliz Ladra came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Xaloc's Ton Torron. But to his dismay, Ton Torron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14.
