San Mames's supporters rose to their feet, but Indartsu De la Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Lastras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ander Moreno's late challenge caught a San Mames's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ander Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. Ander Moreno hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Delmar Lastras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes San Mames got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Clos. Bernat Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Toro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodemo Camacho hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, San Mames was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espartaco Litago to maneuver through the defense. When Vongola FC's Bernat Torres in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Mames's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Vongola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Indartsu De la Rosa came free, but Delmar Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés-Fernando Domingo in the 45th minute of play forced Vongola FC's goalkeeper Delmar Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Vongola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Alonso Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmar Lastras. Vongola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toño Pascual in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toro Ramos saved San Mames from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Bernat Torres in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Toro Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toño Pascual in the 56th minute of play. Nicodemo Camacho charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodemo Camacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes San Mames got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Camacho. San Mames's Toro Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernat Torres in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gudesteo Colillas could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Delmar Lastras however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernat Torres in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toro Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the San Mames defense, Toño Pascual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toro Ramos. The San Mames fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toro Ramos should have stopped the shot. Toro Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernat Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gudesteo Colillas got free with Delmar Lastras in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Bernat Torres made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. San Mames's Toro Ramos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Toño Pascual kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 85 played minutes San Mames got a freekick which was hit by Indartsu De la Rosa. After a defensive mix-up in San Mames's zone, Toño Pascual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toro Ramos came out of the goal and Toño Pascual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toro Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernat Torres in the 88th minute of the match. Toño Pascual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Bernat Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Mames's Toro Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Mames players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vongola FC.
