Gav Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bartolo Jimenez made a huge save. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gav Smith sped through Sant Daniel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartolo Jimenez. Sant Daniel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Gav Smith scored to the left of an out of position Bartolo Jimenez, making the score, 3-0. Gav Smith might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolo Jimenez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gav Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. Sant Daniel's Bartolo Jimenez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sant Daniel from getting a goal against them. Agamenón Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gav Smith dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartolo Jimenez, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Merino in the 26th minute of play forced Sant Daniel's goalkeeper Bartolo Jimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liberto Merino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gav Smith kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Jimenez. That made the score 6-0 in the 32 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirino Zapata in the 38th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Mikolaj Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Spartak de Txurdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Coelho to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belo Ruiz during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sant Daniel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liberto Merino to make the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Gav Smith shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Bartolo Jimenez and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 58th minute Gav Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Jimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sant Daniel defense, Gav Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Jimenez. The Sant Daniel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Jimenez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Gav Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak de Txurdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gav Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Jimenez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gav Smith went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Spartak de Txurdi made a substitution. Regis Jaen replaced Evelio Senin. 70 minutes into the game, one of Sant Daniel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sant Daniel:s Bartolo Jimenez showed great skill when he stopped Gav Smith:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Sant Daniel's Macias Nueva got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Liberto Merino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolo Jimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gav Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Meneses kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Gav Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sant Daniel's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Spartak de Txurdi were the better team. Spartak de Txurdi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
