Elisardo Gimenez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot by Belo Ruiz from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Elisardo Gimenez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 22 minutes into the match, Atlético Mancha Real's goal looked a bit too open when Quintan Torrente came free, but Elisardo Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abad Mayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elisardo Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintan Torrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elisardo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintan Torrente in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Cirino Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético Mancha Real's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Quintan Torrente 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Elisardo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quintan Torrente to strike the kick off in the second half. Elisardo Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirino Zapata in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gero Caballero in the 62nd minute of play forced Sant Daniel's goalkeeper Bartolo Jimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cirino Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintan Torrente in the 81st minute of play forced Atlético Mancha Real's goalkeeper Elisardo Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Atlético Mancha Real got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Losada. 88 minutes into the game, Nando Ortega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sant Daniel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Mancha Real the free kick. Nando Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Sant Daniel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
