The supporters of Racing Almozara booed when Ibiza City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huly Helguera in the 22nd minute of play forced Ibiza City FC's goalkeeper Marcial Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Victorino Cifuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Macho. Marcial Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berbiz Infante in the 54th minute of play forced Racing Almozara's goalkeeper Quilino Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mel Marrero's late challenge caught a Racing Almozara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Racing Almozara's Victorino Cifuentes got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Racing Almozara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
