After 14 minutes of play, UD Almería's Emenon Fuente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Platon Blazquez in the 19th minute of play forced Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper Humberto Llorente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Platon Blazquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Llorente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 33 minutes into the match, UD Almería's goal looked a bit too open when Guilabertus Munoz came free, but Guillen Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Llorente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofronio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Humberto Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emenon Fuente in the 37th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes UD Almería got a freekick which was hit by Musko Zurica.

The wind increased when Guilabertus Munoz made the kick off in the second half. Poncio Gómez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofronio Quiroga got free with Humberto Llorente in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emenon Fuente in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Llorente saved Ponte Riba Dil C.F. from getting behind. After 59 minutes of play, UD Almería's Emenon Fuente made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Llorente was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes UD Almería got a freekick which was hit by Simon Encina. Humberto Llorente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emenon Fuente in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Garaona Salgado got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Emenon Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Llorente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sofronio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Emenon Fuente made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Humberto Llorente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 92 minutes, Musko Zurica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Almería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Musko Zurica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillen Montiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesto Radaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ponte Riba Dil C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Almería were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
